The room was a good size with a cozy bed. The location is fantastic for exploring Carlisle, close to picturesque grounds in the stunning countryside near a beautiful treed river valley, a farm, and Pennine Way.

The property was grand old, I recommend!
Everything here was great, and the weather was very good, appreciated it. Location: the hotel was just next door to Lakes, historic sites, and the woodlands. The service was good, the staff were pleasant. The breakfast was included and had plenty of meals.

The location was amazing, near bars and bistros. Moreover, the area was nice quiet. I enjoyed my room - good sized with comfy beds. Big windows and a new carpet were good.

The budget queen room at Gilsland Hall Hotel had an electric kettle, a work desk, and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. This place has a breathtaking setting near Newcastle and LD National park, offering beautiful grounds in a peaceful and lovely location that I would recommend and return to.

The room was large and budget with 3 single beds. There was plenty of food for breakfast, it was FAB.- The location was marvellous and gorgeous, really close to Newcastle, LD National park, Hexham, Corbridge, Alston.

The food and drinks here are excellent, the rooms are spacious, the breakfast is delicious, and it's perfectly situated near bars and restaurants in a beautiful location.

The breakfast at this place was delicious. The location is amazing and beautiful, plus it's conveniently close to a bus station. We were so comfortable here, it was hard to say goodbye. We'd definitely come back anytime! 🌟
