The room was a good size with a cozy bed. The location is fantastic for exploring Carlisle, close to picturesque grounds in the stunning countryside near a beautiful treed river valley, a farm, and Pennine Way.

The property was grand old, I recommend!

Everything here was great, and the weather was very good, appreciated it. Location: the hotel was just next door to Lakes, historic sites, and the woodlands. The service was good, the staff were pleasant. The breakfast was included and had plenty of meals.

The location was amazing, near bars and bistros. Moreover, the area was nice quiet. I enjoyed my room - good sized with comfy beds. Big windows and a new carpet were good.

The budget queen room at Gilsland Hall Hotel had an electric kettle, a work desk, and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. The hotel is conveniently located close to various attractions such as a vegan-friendly pub, Hexham, Corbridge, Alston, Carlisle. Willowford Wall is just 2 km away from the hotel.
